THUNDERSTORM

Several years ago, I travelled to Thailand. Enroute, we had a layover in Kuala Lumpur. While in Kuala Lumpur, a magnificent city of contrasts, I decided to venture up onto the observation floor of the famous twin-towers. Out over the horizon, an incredible thunderstorm approached the city with a verocity that was frightening. Eventually, after nature was finished with its backlash, the sun shone through the clouds, the water ran along the gutters in the street. It was an incredible experience that inspired me to paint several paintings of the feelings I had during that remarkable experience far from home.
