SPRING

After a long, cold winter, spring gradually pokes through with melting ice and hints of colour. There is an unspoken promise of warmer and longer days. The patterns and texture of ice break up slowly and colour silently creeps onto the tranquil scene. I am inspired by this transition phase. When hope is high and spirits soar.
